Business Bay
In line with the government strategy to enhance the local economy and revitalise investments, Dubai Business Bay is set to be a leading centre for business and shopping, similar to some of the well known centres like New York's Manhattan or Tokyo's Ginza.
For many decades, the legendary Dubai Creek has been an important aspect of Dubai's trading past. It has shaped Dubai from a flourishing fishing and pearl diving center to international port in one the fastest developing cities of the world. Dubai's latest Business Bay is a symbol of Dubai's progress as it embodies the crucial role that the Creek plays in Dubai's past as well its future.
A city within a city, Business Bay is a freehold commercial, residential and business cluster that extends the famous Dubai Creek from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road. Covering an area of 64 million square feet, Business Bay will feature facilities such as towers for offices and accommodation, landscaped layout, and a network for roads for easy access and exit. It will also feature fascinating canals to add to the magnificence of the project, attracting regional and international business ventures and multinationals.
Location
Business Bay is located off Dubai Creek and extends from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road. Business Bay is ideally located for international trade as one end of the development touches Sheikh Zayed Road with its office towers housing international firms and the financial institutions of the Dubai International Financial Center. International hotels such as the Emirates Towers and Shangri-La are also on Sheikh Zayed Road. On the Creek side, Business Bay is neighbored by Dubai Festival Center, a retail and leisure development, as well as being close to Dubai International Airport.
